Steve Trampe, our former associate pastor, has served in pastoral ministries since 1985 and has worked with Mike since 1988. He loves to enjoy time in God's creation whenever possible, especially on mountains. It reminds him of his proper place in the universe and the incredible love our majestic God has for the people He created. Steve has four boys — Dan, Dustin, Steven, and A.J. — and is married to Patty.
Pastor Steve Trampe marries Patty Drew
Following his farewell celebration at Grace Church on July 31st, 2011, Pastor Steve Trampe married Patty Drew from Bakersfield, California on August 12th. Their wedding vows occurred near a sand dune at Pismo Beach, California, right off the ocean. In typical Trampe style, he and his fours sons were adorned in Bahama shirts and Bermuda shorts and flip-flops, a style so welcomed by his new bride! It took two pastors to marry them — Grace's own Mike Frans along with Patty's son Scott, who is also a pastor in western Michigan.
Both Steve and Patty will return to Wisconsin from time to time, seeing that Steve's boys will all be involved near their Wisconsin roots, working, going to school, and one interning in ministry.
